Will that sofa fit?

1 / 2 · The delivery

Use one copy per model, then compare the decisions on page 2. Keep one unit throughout. A box and a doorway having compatible dimensions does not prove the box can turn or tilt along the route.

What arrives at the door?

Record every package or section, including the largest. Keep the seller’s dimension labels: length, width and height may differ from assembled width, depth and height.

Every opening, turn and ceiling

Include open doors, handles, radiators and handrails. At each turn: A = opening to facing wall; B = outgoing width; C = headroom. At stairs, record headroom at bottom step, landing and top step.

2 / 2 · Everyday use

Mark the full footprint

Dimension or checkMeasurement + unitSource / confirmed / unknown
Assembled overall width / depth / height
Chaise / corner plan and handedness
Fully open bed / recliner dimensions
Rear / movement / assembly clearance

Try the everyday and fully opened arrangements, including mobility aids. If the end route is tight, compare overall widths; if the coffee table is crowded, compare depths. No universal route width is assumed.

Compare the usable seat

Check the measurement endpoints. Overall width minus usable seat width shows the span outside the seat: a useful way to compare arms, without predicting comfort.
