Stories and rooms are chosen for their practical and editorial value. Commercial availability does not by itself make a product or room worth featuring.

Product evidence

Where a product is named, we aim to preserve exact identity, current price, merchant and image provenance. We distinguish retailer information from our own editorial judgement.

Testing and experience

We state clearly when an item has not been personally tested. Visual analysis, catalogue evidence and retailer specifications are not a substitute for first-hand use.
