Colour marks the working end
Cobalt covers the gable behind the desk. The pale slope keeps the roof shape visible, with clay confined to the side wall.

ROOM 30 · Workspace
Converted attic · A maker’s home studio
A drawing mat and a keyboard make different demands on a desk. The short return and raised monitor shelf give them separate places beneath this attic's sloping roof. The collection stays in a closed display cabinet, out of the way of the work still in progress.

The roof slope gives this workspace a clear shape before any furniture arrives. A cobalt gable wall draws attention to the desk, while clay at the side warms the room without competing with it. Light falls through the roof window onto a painted timber floor. The result has the energy of a small studio, with the everyday tools of drawing and computer work kept close together.
The rustic-brown Cliporix desk combines a main working surface with a short return. Its compact drawer section is approximately 30cm wide, and the return extends roughly 30cm beyond the main desk edge. A raised monitor shelf keeps the lower surface available for a keyboard, cutting mat and drawing sheets. Three fabric drawers gather small materials. The black frame relates to the XUEGW velvet chair, whose curved, channelled back and upholstered arms bring a softer shape to the arrangement.
The Scribora cabinet gives the collection a visible boundary. Five tiers, clear acrylic panels and individual flip-up doors allow models and objects to be seen without turning them into an open shelf of loose pieces. The architectural models, camera and books are styling props rather than part of the cabinet. The selected cabinet does not include LED strips; the desk’s RGB lighting is also left off in this scheme, allowing the wall colour and daylight to lead.
Arna’s large rust-finished wire disc supplies a strong graphic form above the desk. Its open pattern lets the blue wall remain visible, while the brass-finish Rasan lamp and striped Sanja shade repeat the balance of warmth and line at a smaller scale. The lamp base and shade are listed separately. A little round Khari marble vase holds pencils on the return. These few distinctive pieces give the room personality while leaving its working surfaces useful.
WHY THE ROOM WORKS
Cobalt covers the gable behind the desk. The pale slope keeps the roof shape visible, with clay confined to the side wall.
Clear enclosed storage keeps models and objects visible in five separate tiers. Everyday materials can go into the desk’s drawers, keeping display and work apart.
The short desk return holds a second task beside the main surface. Keep the chair's approach clear so moving between them doesn't require shifting the display.
The wire disc lets the blue wall show through its pattern. It supplies a large shape above the desk without another solid panel competing with the roof slope.
The cabinet holds the models; the desk drawers take small materials. Papers and tools can stay where they are used without joining a permanent display.
WHAT TO BORROW
Decide where the current project can stay out. Put finished objects elsewhere, so tidying the room doesn't require packing away the thing you want to return to.

A compact workstation with room for equipment
Rustic-brown wood-effect surfaces soften the black metal frame of this reversible corner desk. Three fabric drawers, a raised monitor shelf and a lower computer shelf give equipment and everyday paperwork their own places. The selected version is approximately 120.5 x 80.5 cm, with integrated sockets, USB connections and RGB lighting. Pair it with a deep blue or green wall and keep the lighting restrained for a work area that feels at home.

A softly upholstered chair for a bedroom desk
Black velvet and curved, channelled upholstery bring a softer shape to a work corner. This selected black chair has upholstered arms, a padded seat, swivel movement and height adjustment on a wheeled base. It pairs neatly with a white desk or dressing table and a little warm metal nearby. The listing gives conflicting seat-height ranges, so confirm the adjustment range with the retailer if desk clearance is important.

An enclosed display for the collection you have built
Give the collection a place of its own. This black five-tier display case combines a bamboo frame with transparent acrylic panels and individual flip-up doors, keeping models and collectible figures visible behind a clear enclosure. We have styled the selected Black-flip Door version in a dark blue study with warm timber and leather, where the cabinet feels part of the room. LED strips are not included. Models, figures and surrounding furniture are styling props; check the retailer for assembled dimensions and door clearance.
