A cheerful window
Green stripes introduce pattern in one contained place, with enough contrast to stand out against the coral wall.

Portsmouth, New Hampshire. An original ground-floor bathroom concept for a Cape-style home.
The green-striped blind is a small flourish with a large effect. Beside coral walls, white fittings and a dark tiled floor, it makes this bathroom feel cheerful and domestic. There is enough pattern to enjoy without decorating every available surface.
See the product sourcesA tall cupboard stands beside the floating Segeo vanity, giving towels and spare toiletries somewhere to disappear. That decision allows the basin surround to stay relatively clear. The vanity's open gap can hold a folded towel, while its white fronts sit lightly against the stronger colour above. A larger vanity might offer more counter space, but in this scheme the separate cupboard is the more useful addition.
The pale lower walls connect the tub, basin and cupboard, allowing them to read as a continuous light area. Charcoal floor tiles give the room a firmer base, and the single black mirror adds another dark outline at eye level. The brass-coloured faucet and warm glass shades prevent that contrast feeling severe. The coral is concentrated where it can be seen above the fittings.
This is a useful approach when a small bathroom already contains a great deal of white. Keeping the major fittings pale does not oblige the whole room to be neutral; paint, a blind and towels can introduce the character. Begin with storage for what actually lives in the bathroom, then spend the decorating effort on the surfaces you see. The result should be pleasant while it is being used, including when the hand towel is damp and the toothpaste has not quite made it back into a drawer.

The cupboard holds towels and reserves, so an open shelf need not carry everything.
Pale fittings and tile provide a calm base for warm colour, with the dark floor keeping the composition distinct.
Keep usable storage in the plan, then use paint and one well-chosen textile to give pale bathroom fittings more character.
