Cypresses

A slim crescent arcs in the upper right, adding quiet night-to-day drama. Below, two cypresses rise like dark emerald flames, their foliage painted in deep jade, moss, and chartreuse that glints with dabs of yellow. Rugged lavender mountains push into the middle distance, and a band of sunny meadow frames the foreground with loose, playful lines. Texture is everywhere: each ridge of paint lifts light, each curve of color guides the eye upward. The vertical composition makes the trees appear to breathe, while the constant swirl suggests wandering winds. It also belongs to the painting wall art series, where expressive brushwork takes center stage.
