McAlpine 1¼" Plastic Basin Space Saver with Self-Closing Waste Valve

At just 58.2mm high and 130.4mm wide, it's designed for basins where a standard trap has nowhere to go. Made from durable white plastic and tested to BS EN 1451-1 / BS EN 1329-1, it connects via a 1¼" BSP female inlet nut and a 1¼" universal compression outlet. The valve also admits air into the waste pipe under negative pressure, removing the need for secondary ventilation. It's easy to clean in place: remove the split pin, take out the plug and membrane, wash in hot soapy water and reassemble. It's a practical retrofit for basins with restricted pipework space, and a like-for-like swap wherever a full-depth trap won't sit.
