A blue-gray shower for the guest

Published

A renovated ranch house, conceived for Albuquerque, NM.

A hand shower helps with washing the enclosure as well as using it. This guest bathroom gives that everyday fitting a clear blue-gray end, with a navy drawer unit keeping the approach free of supplies.

THE DESIGN

Blue-gray marks the shower without turning it into a separate decorative theme. Sand-colored surfaces hold the rest of the room together, and the navy cabinet gives the basin a deeper base. The change in tone does the organizing.

The wide Noir mirror keeps the working wall straightforward. Nickel fittings remain quiet against the wet-area tile, with a hand shower that is useful for cleaning as well as bathing. Storage is closed, leaving space for the guest’s own small collection of necessities.

WHY THE ROOM WORKS
