Lilac stops at the wet finish
The painted upper wall supplies colour while tile protects the basin and bath edges.

ROOM 128 · Bathroom
A victorian semi renovated contemporarily, conceived for Liverpool.
Lilac takes the upper walls, while white tile meets the bath and basin. The colour can change the room without requiring every towel and fitting to follow it.
See the product sourcesTHE DESIGN
The room keeps its old-house proportions but uses the floor area plainly. The bath has a clear approach, and its mixer stands beside it rather than in the route. A wall-hung vanity opens a little space below without pretending the room is larger than it is.
Paint supplies the colour where the walls stay dry; tile takes over around water. The chosen fittings are chrome, with a simple white basin and enough practical towel space. Lilac does not need matching towels, bottles and flowers to register.
A small vessel on a dry surface is sufficient decoration. The architecture and colour carry most of the interest, leaving the bath and basin to remain useful. The result should feel like a bathroom someone chose, rather than a hotel suite they happened to book.
WHY THE ROOM WORKS
The painted upper wall supplies colour while tile protects the basin and bath edges.
The freestanding mixer sits beside the bath, clear of the route in and out.
The actual selected fittings provide a cooler note against lilac.
The room keeps its Victorian proportions while the vanity and lighting remain simple.
WHAT TO BORROW
Compare the paint with the tile edge and actual chrome fittings together. Keep the colour on suitable dry surfaces and leave the bath approach clear.
