Read the Room Study →Its elegant frame is constructed from sturdy iron and the kilim is woven on a traditional handloom, from hemp and cotton. Traditional handlooms have been used for centuries and the age-old methods are passed down from generation to generation.
This piece is a modern take on a traditional ottoman and looks beautiful in a hallway or at the end of a bed. It is impressive to watch the interlacing of the yarns - in this case cotton and hemp - known as the warp (length) and waft (width) as the weaver artfully weaves the kilim from memory.
