Why we chose it
Rustic Houses is all loose edges, pale sky and orange roofs. That softness is precisely what makes it interesting beside glass, limestone and sharply drawn contemporary furniture. We chose it for the opening study because a modern home need not contain only modern-looking art. The narrow gold-painted wood frame provides a warm boundary without demanding more gold around the room. Confirm the vintage painting’s actual dimensions and availability before using it in your own layout.

A wonderfully executed mid-century modernist style landscape composition, painted in oil onto canvas. The composition offers a panoramic view of rustic houses nestled among lush greenery and sprawling orange fields that extend into the distant horizon.

The limited colour palette, predominantly consisting of shades of orange, green, and a light creamy yellow, evokes a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. The artist employs loose and restrained brushstrokes, imbuing the painting with a sketch-like quality that infuses it with a dynamic energy. This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary gold painted wood frame. Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
